About Us

OUR STORY

For 15 years, preteen ministry has been my heart. I’ve seen how God uses this season for big questions, deeper feelings, and the first steps of owning faith. As a parent of a preteen myself, I know the joys and challenges of walking this road. That’s why Preteen Journey exists—to walk with parents and ministry partners as together we help preteens align their hearts with God and build Christ-centered relationships with others. Because this phase isn’t just a bridge to the “real” years—it should be a safe space where faith takes root and identity is found in Christ.

Our Mission

We team up with Parents, Preteens, and Ministry Partners to walk together on the discipleship journey through the preteen phase.

Our Vision

To align the discipleship of preteens by pointing them toward Christ, so their faith shapes not only their own journey now but also the discipleship of others as they grow into spiritually mature followers of Jesus.
The investment we make in them today creates a generational impact for those who come next.

Why this is Important

According to Barna Group, the preteen years are highlighted as the prime opportunity forparents, caregivers, and ministry leaders to disciple children, influencing their understanding offaith and the world.Barna’s research indicates that a child’s worldview is largely formed by the age of 13, with thecrucial period for developing foundational beliefs occurring between 8 and 12 years old

Just the Beginning of a Growing Movement

The Holiday Advent Guide is only the beginning. It’s our first step toward building a comprehensive ecosystem of faith-based discipleship resources for the Church, Home, and Individual. We’re committed to expanding our platform with new seasonal guides, monthly discipleship content, inspiring podcasts, and preteen discipleship tools that create a Christ-centered community between Ministry Leaders, Parents, and Preteens.

Long-term Vision

We envision Preteen Journey evolving into a complete digital discipleship platform that grows with your family, offering age-appropriate content as children mature in their faith journey while maintaining the core values of family connection, spiritual development, and meaningful engagement.
